Wasn't he asking xxxx?
Congratulations.

It doesn't matter what he was asking for it...Warf was the one who made the trip. You should not try to knock someone's sale. If someone wants a nice collectible cue for a decent price, they can get it here, and still be in the cue at a decent price.

No knock intended. I asked a simple question.
I know it's a nice que. If you read my post you might notice that I
had desired to purchase it.
But thanks for trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't do.

Joe is not telling you what you should or shouldn't do. He is simply stating that if a person has something for sale it is his decision to put a price on it and it doesn't matter what he has invested in it. If you were selling something would you appreciate someone telling the other party what you had paid for the item you were selling! As far as the phone call goes it sounds like you were to late and someone beat you to it.

I beg to differ- "You should not try to knock someone's sale. " is what he wrote and I read that as someone who tried to tell me, "you should not".
lmao

I find it interesting that you two preach 'Private Message' yet sit here and try to scold me in public. Nice. Perhaps a bit of practicing what you preach is in order here.
I ASKED him what he payed ( there was no guarantee it was the same cue ) because I don't live in the same state and wondered if it was the same one after noticing his location.
BTW, I've already spoken with the OP and we've no beef.
Any thing else I should do according to you?
BTW, what is the bestest, most truest and greatestest of the aiming systems?
Also, can you tell me what is the best cue for under $50?
According to you, of course.

Actually if you read my post it doesn't say anything in it about private messaging! And what does it matter what he paid for it compared to what he is selling it for?

Warf,
Sorry about getting in your thread. I hope your able to sale your cue to someone that can enjoy it.

No, you "should not" knock a person's sale thread.

You stated the price that you had seen the cue on CL for, along with the big grin....you were knocking the price that the OP was asking VS what he paid for it. I care how you try to rationalize it, that is what you meant.

It always amazes me that people will see a cue at a good deal on Ebay or CL, but they are not willing to pull the trigger, then, when the person posts it on AZ and is asking a price which is a profit, they suddenly put on their badge and become a "cue policeman" to save all of us poor, unknowledgable cue addicts from making a mistake.

The JR-5 /2 shafts is a great buy at the OP's asking price, poorly informed opinion. I certainly hope that he is not having to sell the cue at a loss, and I wish him the very best of success in selling a nice cue at a fair price, officer.

These would be my suggestions:
Answer to Question #1: Buy some items on AZ Billiards so your itrader will increase from (0)
Answer to Question #2: PRACTICE!
Answer to Question #3: Dufferin House Cue with a layered tip (not a moori or Kamui) because that would put you over budget and a soft case from Kmart or a local pawn shop.
Hope this helps you in your journey..

Mind readers...
I'm always amazed when people speak of things based on assumptions of things they know little of and then determine that it is their obligation to rush to the rescue of those they believe are incapable of defending themselves. You're quite the hero! I applaud your courage to save the board from the very things I never said or did. Bravo, Sir! I genuflect in your general direction!
Your accusations are without merit and are merely a poor attempt to back up your ill-informed statements.
The OP knows ALL the particulars and if you want to keep up the badgering, go ahead. I enjoy the amusement.
So you've been a member here a long time? It obviously hasn't adequately prepared you to behave gentlemanly.
Now let me have it! Your fanboys are counting on you!
Don't withdraw! Lash back with some witty retort!

Kmart? Not Wally World? ARE YOU SURE!?
I'm flying to Vegas Thursday so maybe I'll just see what the 'Pawn Stars' have in stock!

I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

I won't comment any further in the op's thread other than to wish him a great sale.
