Seen him lately? What's up with him? At one time, he was firing'em in in the early nineties.

Wales

Jimmy was playing in a TK tourney down in FLA a couple of years ago that was recorded on ProPoolVideo and I watched it. He was playing pretty well but he still had that crazy jump around the table thing going on. He did play good on the barbox when he was in his late teens. I remember him coming to Nashville for one of the JOB tourneys in the mid 90's and he was not very well known but played like burning hell. I think he either won or lost in the finals of the 500 entry midnight madness deal they had, but IIRC he beat Archer like 11-3 to get there.

Jimmy was a very good player in the early to mid 90s. He got sidetracked and last I had heard he disappeared in Atlanta.

There were some posts here looking for information about him 1-2 years ago.
I thought someone posted that they had found him and that he was trying to get better but I can't remember if that was before or after.

With Jimmy you never knew what you were going to get. Sometimes he was a really cool guy and handled both wins and losses well and other times he was the exact opposite.

In my early playing days I used to watch Jimmy, Johnny A, Tommy Kennedy, Clint M, Paul Turner, Jr Goff and lots of other southern guys play. It was never a dull moment and quite enjoyable.
I still wonder had I started playing at a different time and place would I still be involved with pool.

I believe he "found Jesus", and quit pool. Could be wrong, but I am fairly sure.
