Hello,

I'm quite new and don't post often on the forums but I just wanted to share with you guys my Jobo cue from Pampanga, Philippines made by Bong Nicdao. It's an 18oz, 30" butt 30" shaft. Radial pin (not Uniloc).

In the time I've played pool I haven't seen a cue as unique as this and the hit is quite solid. I have sent it to Mr. Nicdao for a repair and has been shipped back to me, so I am excited to see it once again.

Sorry this is the only picture for now, but once I receive it in the post I can take more if people want to see.

I don't ever want to bump posts, but is there no love for this cue? It's a great one from Angeles City. If I'm not mistaken, Bong is a second (?) cousin of Efren Reyes, which is a really cool thing.

Definitely a unique look.

Usually I don't like oak in a cue, and that handle looks like oak....but it works in this cue.

Some people just can't get excited by Pampanga cues I think, but I am happy to see it.

Thanks for showing off!

Thanks for the kind words, I can't wait to get it back since it's been a while since I sent it out for repair (just needed the shaft rethreaded)

I understand the common thought about cues from Pampanga, but it's nice knowing that I got one that wasn't really meant for tourists wanting a fancy cue. From what I know, he has his materials shipped to him from the US and slow turns the wood, excellent attention to detail. Also, his cues sell through a lot of local distribution and in Megabreak pool hall in Thailand (their premier pool hall)... Not sure how much a cue like this would go for, but from what the maker has said, they sell from $300 to $800. Does that sound accurate?
