Joe Barringer, Que Components.com, has formely announced his retirement

Just based on personal experiences i must say this is good news. Last time i dealt with this cat he dropped more f-bombs than Pesci in "Casino". He called ALL poolplayers f-this and f-that. Dude is un-hinged.

Edit: I got a PM from Fastgal claiming not to be Joe Barringer. I`m cool with that.
I`m agnostic about the whole thing, but you will find plenty of members here that will point out that Mr. Barringer has been on this forum under several psudonymes.

Hi, I’m Dwight M., and I’ve had the privilege of taking over Cue Components from Joe Barringer. It’s been about six months, and we’ve been focused on launching a new website and ensuring our products are in stock and ready to ship. The journey has been exciting, and I’m thrilled with the progress so far.

As a lifelong pool enthusiast, it’s been an incredible experience working in this industry every day. One of our top priorities is improving customer service. We’re committed to offering a smoother, hassle-free experience for every customer. You can count on us to be responsive, helpful, and dedicated to solving any issues quickly—no more waiting around or unnecessary complications. We're here to make your experience as seamless as possible.

Looking ahead, we’re excited about growing Cue Components, offering more quality products, and building lasting relationships with our customers.

there are lots of sellers of pool stuff. buy from those that give the best service at a price you can stomach.

Great shipping prices …said they were actual. Yes they were. Actually pathetic. A handling charge on top of inflated costs. I learned alot from his video… how to constantly smoke while doing a presentation

Our shipping prices are lot better now and they are transparent. You will see them before checking out so there is no guessing.

There was no guessing originally. Shipping prices were a hoax. Actual cost? I paid UPS with a $5.00 handling fee on top of that for a cheap light weight item. About $17 total. Actual at the time was around $8.00. I bought once and done. Never again.
Anyway ..Good luck to you...much success.

edit. My favorite section of the original website was the "Don't Call Me If" page. If it's still available could it be posted... It was rather comical.

Changing the name of your company might give you a fresh start/better chance of regaining some of your customer base.
👍
Not a bad idea. There’s a restaurant in my neighborhood was so bad it’s on its 3rd owner and I still will not go back.

If you are going to offer an "in-house" product, the origin of the product should be clearly stated. Business relationships are like any other...Once you lose trust, you've lost everything.
Just my .02¢.

I did a complete run down of the Tiger line of tips.. Tony called me because I reported they were horrible.. He sent me test samples after he found out I had ordered from "he who must not be named" and it turned out they were actually not horrible at all when genuine....
