Has anything ever been done to acknowledge Joe Burns contributions to the players and the game during the late 60s 70s especially, when almost no one else gave a hoot?
I just watched a video by Bill Porter of Earls first big win in Dayton Ohio, at one of Joe's tournaments.
There have been some great promoters and friends to pool players, I don't know of any who did more for them than Joe.
