The rating system he mentioned at the start was probably the USPPA which had ratings from 30 or so to 150 or so and was primarily in California and Nevada.
USAPL had that same rating scale, before they went to Fargo, I think 20 to 120. When the first league week started we were all playing as 50s. I did well in my match and due to performance I was made a 120, which is the pro level LOL. That was fun, I lost quite a few of the next several matches due to this till I got to the high 80s and 90s, which translated to a 560 or so Fargo when they swapped over.
