When I first saw Joe doing the commentary for the UFC, I didn't really like him that much. Then I actually started paying attention to what he was saying.
I became a fan almost over night. I've watched some of his stand up and the stuff he says is on point IMO. He seems like the kind of guy that would fit right in my group.
As far as his MMA goes, anybody training with Eddie is going to be a bear on the ground. But if memory serves me correctly, I believe he has a pretty strong TKD background as well.
For those who are into watching youtube stuff, you missed one of the best ever if you didn't get to see him punking Carlos Mencia before it got pulled. I loved it.
