Actually anybody that lives south of Main Street in Bunkie calls you a yankee. I thought everybody knew that the mason dixon line runs right down the middle of the main street of Bunkie. Justin will keep you straight if you listen to him.
This was a timely thread for me since I stopped in Sorrento on the way home today and scored two links of boudin and a soda water for lunch. I've eaten the white, I've eaten the red, I've eaten the boudin balls, some of them from some very big boudins, and I have eaten the plastic cased and natural cased varieties. I'm here to tell folks it is all good! Of course I was born on Latte Naiche Bayou in Point Coupee Parish and my neighbors didn't speak english.
