Joey Barnes???

I agree with Doc on Chen being the best in Dallas. With David G you never know which David is going to show up. He either shoots lights out or the exact opposite. I think Chen is more consistent. Chen's one hole game is getting pretty strong to.
If your are looking for Joey, it wont be to hard to find him.

Nope, still dont agree. David G cant play Chen in straight pool, and two years ago Chen robbed him down in Houstan in nine-ball. David was in the pool hall, the very same night with Cliff Joyner and Chen played him, race to 125 in straight pool. Chen runs 125 and out. They both quit him. Maybe you dont know Chen's game that well?

I can gauge a game pretty well but in no way am I saying that chen is a walkover or an easy game. Whomever he plays is giong to have their hands full, that's for sure. But David is a super strong player and I don't like Chen's chances in 9 ball. I guess what I am saying is, Chen can beat him but hie's not supposed to.

Kill what action? Why do you think he stays out of stroke.

Very well said.

I was talking about barnes on action kill. Everyone knows coming to Dallas how he plays. But he travels alot where people don't know him. It does'nt bother me because I don't care.

You make a good point. The fact is, "killing someone's action" in the traditional sense has become the norm in these modern times. In other words, with the instant communication in use today (cell phones, the internet, blackberries, etc.) it's almost impossible for anyone to hide either their identity or their speed.

I have a good player friend from Mississippi who recently spent a year travelling around the country trying to get action. He told me he was surprised that everywhere he went, players knew who he was and how he played.

So I guess the days of "sneaking up" on someone are quickly coming to a close.

Doc
