Smokey,
I'm not sure which thread you were talking about. I found this one but it is not without it's baggage. You can read up on this by clicking here. It is thread mixed with a lot of emotion, so those of you who know me, know how I feel and that I hold no grudges against anyone.
The POW-MIA (Prisoner of War-Missing in Action) cue that I play with was designed by myself and a few good friends to honor all of the soldiers, especially the Prisoners of War and those missing in action. I play with it in every tournament and I play with it every time I play pool. I have no other playing cue.
MUCH thanks goes to cubc who hosts the pictures of the cue for all these years.
To see the cue you can go to http://immediateeffects.com/youarenotforgotten/
Thank you for the kind words and offerings. I plan to spend some quality time with you when I come to Vegas in May but will probably pass on your generosity, although I do like the idea of the Harley.
Thank you for remembering those who have fallen, those who were prisoners of war. May they never be forgotten.
Right now, I only have two hours to get to the Louisiana State Bar Table Championship where the POW-MIA cue and I will go into battle once more.
Best Regards,
JoeyA
yes, Sir. those were the threads i was referring to - tks for re-posting - and yours is the most beautiful cue i have ever seen... bar none
if you have time to listen to a [at the time a 13 year old] dutch girl playing an italian trumpet solo based on TAPS - i hope you and others enjoy the notes; ones not played in the simple sound of TAPS - a beautiful and melancholy melody...
