One pocket is so slow. It takes two days to play a race to 9. I know nothing about one pocket. Isn't the first day from 4-12. That's 8 hours of pool. Guess I need to watch some YouTube and see how this game works.

Sir, You are a typical one pocket novice.. (AKA, a "John rooter" !)..You do not have a clue, so why are you even 'butting in' ?...I will be surprised if it takes more than a few hours, for Lou to put the 'bragging boob' (JB) to sleep !..In fact, I will make the over/under duration of the match, 4 hours..Unless of course 'Loser John' goes into a stall mode, to try and avoid the inevitable ! :boring2: :boring2: :boring2:

I was fortunate enough to be able to see Scott Frost play when he lived in Des Moines. He actually went to my high school (small world side note). It may appear to be slow at times, but I love the strategy aspect of it. Some of the shots he did made me ask to myself would I have don't that same shot? Most of the time the answer was no, but I recognized why he did it when he followed up with another great shot. Execution and speed control both seem absolutely critical in this game when watching two good pros play. It's amazing how a half inch miss-played safety can sell out a table.
 
Well I dont have a dog in the fight but I do hope this.

I hope both guys have an "ON" day, and the best guy wins.

I would rather have a day I play great and get beat than a day I dont play well and still win. It seems to cheapen the victory somehow.

I once had an "ON" day on a tournament, years ago, and played so freakin far over head that I almost scared myself. I played again a couple days later and I was back to my normal self. I have never played better before or since that one day.

LOL that would be a hollow victory. Plus, if he could still play I don't honestly think I could win playing even. The top notchers I know who are old enough to remember Dick say he could actually really play. About a ball or two under the elite.

But there is another loudmouth out there who I would dearly love to gamble with but I am positive he won't be a quarter that he is even breathing.

He would probably run out of the pool room if he saw me walking in.

You got that right. How am I supposed to follow them? I mean I have little boobs but I don't think that they good in a tight shirt.

I thought that was quite obvious, as you were claiming that it would take under 4. Logically, most would deduce that I would be taking the over then. Guess I'll have to spell it out like I would for a 4 year old next time.
