I think some confuse disagreeing with hate and hate with death.
Not at all. Although some disagree hatefully.
I have a better idea than you betting with me against Lou.
I will stake Stan Shuffet to play you. $10,000 for anything you both agree on.

Out of the hundreds or thousands of betting "offers" you've made on here and 1P, has there ever been even one time, outside of posting for this match, that any money changed hands? It's gotten to the point of a tiresome joke.
Don't get me wrong, I'd be on Lou's arse, too, if he wrote page-long responses every day that included challenging everybody to a bet, especially if he backtracked already. I'm hoping that this match takes place soon, because it's been made more obnoxious than interesting.
I'll pass ,Stan has a fine game.Keep telling yourself you got the best of it. It won't be Lou beating you ,it will be you.Hope the melt down don't start to early in the match.
Did John Barton used to be known as John Collins? If so I see woofing as far back as 2002 or 2001.
This thing has matured slower than some savings bonds.
Yes, I took my wife's name and changed mine to Barton.
I do like them both, and I really agree on what Roger said about why we "hate" someone. Now I am hooked, I wish they both good luck and enjoy the match.
Keep dreaming that this is what will happen. But you're right that this is the only way Lou beats me.
No because when I make an offer the other side realizes that they don't believe enough in their point to put money on it.

I like them both too.
By the way, am I the only one who has played them both?
I remember one time in St Louis I played a couple 9-ball races to 7 and a couple 14.1 games to 100 with Lou. And I remember another time in Las Vegas I played 6 9-ball races to 5 with John Barton--four of them on a shimmed bar box and the other two on a 9' at the Cue Club....
I have no horse in this race....
No Mike. I have played them both also. In fact, I have played all three of you.

.
Nope. I played them both.

No offense taken Sean. I guess your post deserves a response from my perspective.
Lou has denigrated and ridiculed good and decent people on this forum, FOR YEARS, simply because they have different beliefs than he does and I am fairly sure that you have NEVER admonished him for his despicable behavior. Why? I don't know.
Sean, you're a decent guy. Even if you disagree with someone you don't take the disagreement to the point of intentionally trying to ridicule someone over what they believe or practice. You may disagree with someone but you get your point across and leave it alone. That's what a gentleman does.
Lou isn't a gentleman unfortunately, despite the front that he puts on for most of us and he has been given the opportunity to be one.
Actually I think it is more than that. He has been given the opportunity to be a friend by more than one person on this forum but he prefers to be a forum bully and a self-righteous, pompous ass, more than to get along with people.
Sorry, but Lou has made his bed and he likes it this way. He doesn't apologize for his ways, doesn't plan to change his despicable behavior and that's just Lou.
I guess after all these years I am glad to see Lou getting just a little bit of what he has been giving others for years.
I think what is particularly funny is Lou came into my town much like John did in St. Louis, when I wasn't at my pool room and couldn't wait to get back to his laptop to spread rumors about anything negative about me that he could find.
Lou is a gossiper and a person who spins the truth to meet his own agenda and his agenda is often an intention to hurt or injure.
He's just getting a little bit of what he has been giving others for all these years. I guess it's overdue. In a way I'm sorry to say that I'm most likely fanning the flames. I'll bow out unless there is additional reasons to respond. I thought you deserved a response.
