As the title suggest, I'm curious how does a John Davis blank hit, soft, medium, hard...? Would the choice of different wood make alot of difference? Which cues would you compare it to in terms of playability? Or would you say it still boils down to the shaft and joint that the final cue maker pairs it down with?
