John Davis Full Splice Blanks

Just wonder if anyone here is getting his blanks to make cues here. I would really like to hear some feed back.

I have limited experience with cuemakers as i tend to stick to the one that works for me. But i would really like to build an ebony full splice cue as an ebony titlist seems hard to come by these days.

His blanks looks really good from the pics. I wonder are there any pictures of cues that he has made before. How is his workmanship. How his shafts play.

Thanks for any information.

Full splice. The handle wood is full spliced to the point wood which is full spliced to the forearm.
I don't totally understand this, but maybe someone could help me with it.

From what I understand, full spliced cues have the prongs and the handle from the same piece of wood. That's practically all I know about full spliced cues. Maybe someone could help shed the light on my doubts....:D

Outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the pictures looks like great work! This is the way cues are supposed to be constructed in my opinion. This way they will have balance an a hit like to freight trains.( Worked for railroad for 22 yrs) You bet I'm going to order one.

It's a double full splice. The pointwood is spliced into the forearm and then, to reduce weight, the lighter material spliced at some point to extend the rest of the handle/butt area.
