John Lewis Playing Favorites for his friends as a final Hurrah to BCA!

Interestingly enough, Jamie Bowman 2 years ago winner of the Open Division here at the nationals has somehow made it back from Master player to open player to rob the lessor players as a final goodbye. If that wasn’t bad enough, guess who is on the same team with his brother world road dog Jesse Bowman? Yes, in addition to them how many powerful players are waiting in the wings to rob the players of the team event too? Other players who have asked if they would ever be able top be an open player again, have heard a BIG NO from John Lewis that they would never be lowered. Now here it is Jamie and Jesse on a team together and Jamie back (somehow thanks to Mr. Lewis) to the Open division.

Now, is this someone who you would like to have representing the new ACS? John Lewis has played favorites to the Bowman family who are all in attendance for their final goodbye to the BCA. He has set the players up and if you choose to play in this new organization, you can fully expect to donate your money to the Bowman family and others affiliated to the directors board.

Incidentally, Dwayne Bowman is on the new ACS board with John Lewis. How about that. If you join the ACS you can expect for the Bowman family and others to be treated like the royals and be prepared to bow to them since they will be bringing home all the loot.

At the Iowa state championships, Dwayne Bowman pays top heavy to the Master teams because he knows his kids and their friends will be winning those events.

Here is more proof in the pudding of the misuse of funds and favoritism that will be changing hands to the ACS. That is sure a team I would never belong to. The thieves guild has begun.

After talking with the new BCA owner, he assures me that this will never happen again. Since there has been a lot of complaints regarding this, Mr. Griffin has said to talk to Steven Ducoff or voice your complaint at the registration area.

*Mock look of shock*

No surprise here. I actually emailed John Lewis a couple years ago to talk to him about reinstating a pro ranked player to master status so he could play on my team. The player is nowhere near as powerful as he once was and other players still master ranked have been doing far more in recent years then he. I was told definately not, the player could be 80 years old, blind and paralized and he would still be pro ranked. Now we have Jesse Bowman in the tourney and back at masters status? What a joke. John Lewis is for sure not to be trusted in these types of things and his hardnosed stance does alot more harm then good. He bases his desisions 100% on his own subjective reasoning and his word is law and he could not care less if the players don't like it.

The BCA is better off without him. The ACS would be better off without him as well. Ted Harms would be alot better as the head honcho of the ACS, I find he is alot more open to talking to the players. Of course Ted Harms would have been even better as a right hand man running the Canadian leg of the BCA for Mark Griffin, pay the guy 100k a year to run the country, he would do it well and that is money well spent. He already has the connections and the players all know him. I imagine there are personal problems that would stop the above from taking place, it is a shame really.

The fact that John Lewis is gone from the BCA now is a good thing. His little dictatorship is now the ACS and the BCA hopefully can excel into something better and more fair while the ACS hopefully chokes on the two faced choices they make due to JL.

Does this really surprise anyone that Lewis would play favorites.

What a cheet,, And to beet all, got a phone call to tell me that the team is wearing ASC shirts to play in as their team name. These people are just nasty.

Mark always ran a fair intermediate/open player classification system for Alaska. Never playing favorites. His classification method will change but his principals won’t.

Has anyone else noticed how many names that wrote letters of support to the ACS are also on their Board of Directors ?
