The number of 1st tier pool players can be counted on one hand.
Edit: Don't ask me to list them, as it changes so often with todays players.
If this is your definition, then no, Roberto and Morra aren't on the world beater list. They can at any given time play world beater speed however.

I'm not sure? It's obvious your "list" is completely oblivious to the many many top "1st" tier pros and "unknowns" in the Philippines and China/Taiwan also. But for someone to question who faraon and Gomez are and then say it's five guys at the top of the top is very laughable.
He's the Filipino that Efren and Busty said they wouldn't gamble with. The fact you had to look him up tells me you don't watch much pool aside from American tournaments.
The fact is JM has finished 2 in a world event just beat Shane at the Xbo yes JM has not won any top tier events however he's got a slew of seconds for anybody who does not know anything about JM he against his dad's wishes who made him stay in school left with basicly no backing or support and jumped right into the lions den playing Berg on his home court with almost zero support ,,
Mommy has not been tucking JM in at night this young man has traveled the world playing pool on his own accord taking his lumps and he reaped some rewards for his efforts
Is he a top tier pro your dam right he his infact a pro could be defined by JM untill the other so called top tier pro decide thier going to drop thier pacifiers and travel the world like JM does thier the second and third tier not JM

Actually, the question was to name a shortstop who is BETTER than Morra. You named a guy who beat him once - are you saying your friend is better than JM? If not, you haven't answered the question.
The point you first claimed in this thread, in answer to a poster who posted that JM would beat a bunch of second tier US pros, was to claim that JM was "an absolute dog for the cash". Then it was pointed put that he beat two excellent Filipino pros for the cash - guys who would be seasoned gamblers and likely stronger than the Mills and Bartrams who were said to be favoured over JM for cash.
Morra's real estate is rising... He is now, after the Archer Cup 10-Ball event and associated 9-Ball open event, #31 in the world

If that's ur basis for saying there's shortstops u would bet on over morra, then there is something wrong With ur thought process. Just go get any of ur shortstops and I'll make 2 phone calls and they can play some even 10 ball and bet high as the sky.
