You don't know who Roberto Gomez is? Really?
I looked him up.
Since 2005, he's only won over $10k three times.
So remind me, how am I supposed to know OR care who he is.

Roberto Gomez has been in the finals of the World 9-ball championship.
...not a whole lot of players can say that.
his pool hall moniker is SUPERMAN
...even less can say that.
Lol you can't be serious??
I'm dead serious.
If you aren't sure what 1st tier means, it's the top of the top.
The number of 1st tier pool players can be counted on one hand.
Edit: Don't ask me to list them, as it changes so often with todays players.
I gotta' agree with you. Most Canadian women ARE good looking. :wink:Even our beavers and maple syrup?

If this is your definition, then no, Roberto and Morra aren't on the world beater list. They can at any given time play world beater speed however.
Congrats.
The OP said to name a shortstop who could beat Morra and that's what I did. Take your attitude somewhere else.
Are they 1st tier pros?
No. Then my point stillstands
Actually, the question was to name a shortstop who is BETTER than Morra. Y[...]
Actually, the question was to name a shortstop who is BETTER than Morra. You named a guy who beat him once - are you saying your friend is better than JM? If not, you haven't answered the question.
No. The post said Morra can beat any American for the dough; another responder said he'll lose to a number of shortstops and I happen to know one shortstop he lost to for the dough already.
M'kay?
Congrats.

Not sure what you mean by 'loss of status'. They don't put their own money up cause they don't have to. It is more of a case of loss of their own funds versus a loss of status. Not sure why you think that. I guess maybe for a few players that seems to be the reason such as Mike Dechaine who never plays anyone. Some players have enough sponsorship money they don't have to gamble.
But with the internet and cell phones today, there is no more sneaking round and hustling so to speak. Before you would have to go outside the pool room and see if the guy had out of state plates if it was someone you didn't know. Now you just snap his picture and send it to someone, 5 minutes later you have your answer. If you don't believe you answer than just google him or use the FargoRate or some other method.
(I can let you know when Justin played Morra back in 2008, he bet his own)
Watchez u sure u didn't back Bergman playing morra when scooter was in his corner and some other people???
Justin had a LARGE part of the bet.
