John fell victim to several bad rolls in the closing racks; when SVB kicked at a combo that ended up banking; John made a great break on the hill and the balls ended up funny (treed & couldn't make the 1; and the kick from behind where he stuck the cueball perfectly but the object ball went in the side at hill-hill. You can tell Shane did not believe he truly earned the win when he didn't celebrate and actually looked upset that he didn't perform better.
SVB's break was not working for him and he made several uncharacteristic mistake; John on the other hand, broke really well. I think John out played Shane, at least this set. It was a fun set to watch.
