The cue has an amazing clean hit. It could not hit any better.
This John Nemec is one heck of a builder.
This cue takes no getting used to. Ultimate sleeper cue.

It is funny you ask.

Mr Dean hoped I would keep this cue as a player allowing me to put up my expensive cues. As the cue arrived today I had just agreed to buy a Scruggs player to do just that. Then I put this cue together and started swinging it.
It is unbelievably forgiving. The hit is indestinguishable from the ivory joint cues I play with. It could easily be my player if my 8 pointer is put away.
Now I am waiting on a big pin Scruggs player at 20 and a half ounces and have this cue. Everyone should have it so bad!
It plays! As Mr dean said gaurenteed. And he wasn't fooling around.
Thanks for asking Mr Danial,
Nick :)

PM's replied

I seem to have forgotten.
The tips are 12.89mm and 13.03mm roughly.
Thank you.

That was my personal player for almost a year,it plays very very good.If I were planning on playing and there was action in Dallas, this cue would never have been sold.
I no longer have a financial interest in the cue ,but I am letting you know that it is a good playing cue

I just noticed

I think $1200 is more like what I need for this cue now that it has been in my hands for a couple days play. And yes, I just raised the price.
