John Robinson Cues

I recently picked up a couple of the late John Robinson cues.
I wasn't planning on a new cue but I couldn't help myself once I hit with it!

Honestly, I knew very little about John's cues except for noticing one every now and then.
I was somewhat hesitant years ago due to the reverse joint but this time I pulled the trigger.

I have read the impressive write-up on Blue Book and I would like to know any information other may know.

I've also got the Cocobolo cue and absolutely love it, have always liked his cues and feel lucky to have picked one up since they're not very common. The cue came with 4 shafts, 2 Predator and 2 stock, and am thinking about sending it off to get a 314-3 matched to it but might have to sacrifice a shaft for the joint ring. Have you had anyone make a shaft for your cues?
