I just watched the 14.1 DVD from John Schmidt. The information presented in the DVD is very good. John tells why he shot what ball and exactly what mistakes he made. John obviously has made great progress in 14.1 since he 2000 US Open. I watched the match between him and Sigel this morning (BTW Sigel broke his cue on this tape), and Schmidt looked like a 9-ball player playing straights. On his DVD he looked like a very experienced straights player.

The quality of the video is not very good. Realize this was recorded on a home video camera in a garage and produced by Schmidt. I expected better, but I was too disappointed.

Overall - B+
Commentary - A++
Video Quality - C-
Lessons Learned - B

FWIW,

Jim
