SOLD SOLD SOLD
Thank you Dan S.
Sorry Mickey....he sent payment 1st. I'm doin my best to keep up here.
As I poured through my old buddy's things, searching for items that will help cover his final expenses, I've found a group of older cue and case brochures. I plan to make several listings; enjoy them as our fellow member Stormin Norman did for many years.
Offered is one of the earliest price lists and color brochures for Showman Cues. I am not aware of an earlier one.
Norm used to tell the story of how impressed he was with John's cues when they were first offered at the Superbilliard Expo. A dealer bought the entire lot on the last day...perhaps that was the only time Mr. Showman wasn't sold out by end of day one...
In any case, the pages are regular copy paper with color copies of his series of cues and hand written prices. These are not scans of fancy brochures but simple home spun items when Shomen cues was gaining its place in the market.
Included is the coolest business card I've ever seen, like the one pictured on the copy, Norm saved a card printed on birdseye veneer. It even has good figure!!!
Own this quirky but rare collectable and help a fellow member's family. All proceeds go to Norm's final expenses.
First paypal of $35 to drawman623@aol.com gets the item
