Is the marketing too extreme? Perhaps.

To me, she's a full blown pro already. She can do this full time and still be doing well because she shoots the part. At this rate she will be competing in the men's tour.

I am glad there is a prodigy in our sport. She is the likes of Tiger Woods and Caitlyn Clark in her own respective sports. Possibly the most exciting player right now in pool. Lets face it watching the top guys do robotic pattern runouts are quite boring.

Seeing a teenager, a female, beat up on men is better.

I remember years ago older guys at the pool hall talking about "some little kid in South Dakota who is playing and robbing everyone"...THAT is some Tiger type stuff right there! (y)

I still remember whenever someone made mention of "South Dakota"" it involved some kid with a weird last name.

She is sponsored by some of the biggest companies in the industry. So that's covered. Making money off pool.

She is winning tournaments and collecting trophies on the way up.

It's her age that is holding her back and no fault of hers or parents. Just need to wait a few years to hit maturation. Something that is out of everyone's control.

But yes, she's a full blown professional.

You can't say on the way up & she's a full blown professional.

She calls herself a professional pool player.

That means play against the pros and only the pros.

Not in any event that is remotely amateur-ish.

i think she's 16. icbw. it's of course nice to see parents that involved but it's also like they're milking the influencer side, which isn't a very good look

Let me give you some examples

Look up Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie etc. When(and before) they turned pro, they played professional events. Not junior events, not tournaments against players of certain handicap levels. They played only against the best in the world & in Michelle Wie's case against the men on the PGA Tour.

Buy hey that's golf, not the shitshow of amateur err I mean professional pool.

Born Feb, 2010, so as I write this she is 15.

Hanna-Barbera, while having been acquired by Warner Bros in a merger, would have no problem with The Roadrunner trademark as Roadrunner and Wyle E. Coyote was a WB cartoon, not HB.
