Johnny Archer

You aren't putting forth enough thought.

That is precisely what is wrong with the current system that is in place.
There aren't many teen professionals to have their own tour. So a teen pro would play in the juniors ,if that is what you are referring as to why someone of her caliber is playing in the junior level tournaments. Or are you saying pro teens shouldn't be playing at the junior level.

Essentially you are punishing high level teen from playing against their peers because they are better than them?

I don't know what you are asking and hopefully what I mentioned above is the answer you wanted.

Put both age and gender aside, this is about skill level & being a professional.

Savannah Easton is the equivalent of a 4 handicap golfer trying to play on the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry & LPGA tour as a pro.

Yet as a pro she has a fall back option of playing with the 650 and under set, the juniors and against 500 Fargo Rate women. Hell she could even play in the regional VNEA singles event in my area if sanctioned. A "Pro" should not be allowed to do this!! Once an individual turns professional they put all other "amateur-ish" options aside.

In the end it's not her fault that pool has no true governing body that defines professional and amateur status.

Not to debate her level of play but , would you guys feel better if Savanah was correctly labeled as a "MEDIA Influencer"?

No. We're not trying to disrespect the game.

She's an influencer because she's good at pool. She's not good at pool because she is a "media influencer".

Think logically now. I know there are guys like you that try to put the sport down. Like the many people of year's past debating whether this is a sport or a game.

This has been talked about for years and only got worst. The problem is bandaged today because of pool's popularity currently. In the past this was argued to death since pool had no real governing body and too many organizations. Remember the boycott of 10 years ago if I remember correctly? Organizations that won't acknowledge another organization and lets not forget the not allowing players to play in another organization. This still happens today.

Its another topic of its own. For the most part I do agree with you.

Sadly, pool went from dead to being at its most popular right now even with the different organizations. The problem hasn't been solved and too much money at stake. Boxing is very similar.

I don't know how you concluded i was disrespecting the game?

I have previously stated i truly believe women are every bit as capable as men at the cue games. I have gone so far as to say they may be capable of out performing the men. Time will tell.

i forgot to remember to care about johnny’s finances and everytime oscar calls me for advice about how to handle debts i’ve been too busy to talk

I thought Johnny acted with class most of his life. If Oscar is satisfied I have to be but I do hope this means payment in full. Maybe a bit more for the wait.
