I have not had the chance to listen yet, but my social media algorithms are bombarding me with everyone sharing this audio. Apparently it's worth a listen!
Threatening violence on a kid 40+ years younger than him, live on stream, is probably not the smartest thing to do.

Honestly, I don’t think anybody took it seriously or that it even has malice behind his words. He’s wrong for doing it, but I think he was just having a personal meltdown after losing.
Well who won then?

I appreciate that he apologizes over and over for his emotional response.
...and that he owns that he had little chance to win and was outmatched.
I think that he needs to retire from big matches like this. Based on his own list of ailments that he suffers from (and there are probably some that he didn't mention), there is no way this is what he should be doing with his money. Or with any backers' money.
I believe a lot of what he is complaining about probably happened.
I don't think that he is inventing what he claims was being said to him while he was stroking a ball. His emotional level suggests to me that Gabe's conduct probably was out of line.
I don't love him threatening to slap the kid, or to get someone else to.
Interviews with the loser in sports immediately after a set/ match/ game are poor form. Someone should have kept Johnny away from the mic for his own good.

I can't imagine anyone siting there with a piece of Johnny hearing the opponent say something like that more than once without standing up and doing something about it.
Perhaps he should just stick to the UP circus and stay out of the box.

Well, the threats are dumb, no doubt. But “kid” is an adult and no doubt more of a match physically for Archer. It’s not like a 30 year old threatening a 13 year old.

People say "stuff" when they are emotional. It's fine. Johnny was emotional and likely for good reason. Not a single thing wrong with venting sometimes. "Bad look" yeah ok, fine. But it's also not some big deal either.
