johnson city classic pool table

I was just curious and wanted to see what some other people thought about a pool table. I know a gentleman that has the AE Schmidt table that all the greats played on back in 60 and 61. Eddie Taylor,Johnny Vives,Marshall Carpenter,Hubert Cokes,Johnny Irish, Jimmy Moore,Larry boston shorty Johnson,Danny Jones, Minnesota Fats,just to name a few. He said that he might be intrested in selling it. Just out of curiousity whats this thing worth. Especially from just the history behind it.

I would think it would go for more than the average table if you could prove it was actually there. Nothing like a little history to get the juices flowin. To me it would equal playing in memorial stadium on a saturday night in front of 90,000, what a feeling. Good luck...

supposidly he has a letter of authenticity from ae schmidt he sent the serial numbers to them and they told them they in fact sold the table to the jansco's and also got confirmation from buddy hall that it was the table so who knows lol I was just wanting to know what this thing could be worth I would like to have it but he told me it would take quite a bit to get it. So i dont know if that meens astranomical amout or what? lol
