Lassiter was the man! Playing Lassiter on even terms was such a privilege in 1970. He won the all around the next spring at the Stardust in Vegas! 1971. Myself and Cole Dickson introduced ourselves to Lassiter the first day of the 9 ball tourney and shot the sh— with him for maybe 20 minutes. Cole did most of the talking! I’ll carry that moment to my grave!

Buddy Hall always said that to me. Alot of folks think Buddy was tops but he said it was Lassiter.
