Joint and pin

I like wood to wood joints,But what do yall think about the size of pin 3/8or 5/16?? Ive lean toward 3/8 but i have freinds that perfer 5/16 how much diff. does it make and in what way? I know what I play with now and have both but prefer my Klein and Haley both 3/8 pin...still what do yall think is better?and im not talk about my cues

3/8" pin. I play with both but I prefer the 3/8". Right now I have been using my cue with the 5/16" pin only because I'm waiting to get the shaft turned down on my 3/8. It just seems like I can feel the shot better. It could all be in my head but its just the way it seems. And the shot feels a little softer but very firm if that makes any sense.

It's a fact that a single 1/4 bolt will lift the weight of a car.

5/16 threads are larger and have been used for years...and they still work.
