Hello, what would be a good material black rod to make insert joint for carbon tube, a lot of material exist but what would be some good choice?

Anything really can be used if prepped right. I use juma or phenolic depending what the shaft is used for

I'm not familiar with that but if it's like delrin glues, epoxy won't or hardly stick to it.

Ertalyte holds glue fine. But like other softer plastics it does not hold finish as good as Juma or Phenolic.

Why overthink it? Phenolic works great, so do Juma and Tomahawk.
