Joint pin loosening?

This 7/16x11 g10 pin from barringer somehow has been pulled from the butt end of the cue. It's not loose nor can I turn it/screw it back into the butt. It doesn't make any noise but I'm concerned it will eventually become loose and/or hurt the shaft.

I assume this happened from tightening the shaft down many times, but I'd also assume the wood threads wood break in the shaft before being able to pull the pin from the butt?

Are there any makers/repairmen that specialize in pin replacement and shaft plugging and retapping? The shaft is an aftermarket and seemed to have the initial hole over bored before tapping, which is why there's wax on the threads in the second photo.

Thanks for your time.

Here are before and after pics, disregard the gross looking wax if you can.

Well, because Joe Barringer is the maker. I was under the impression he no longer worked on cues, and even if he does he has enough bad reputation to me that I'd rather avoid any possible headaches/heart breaks because I love the way this cue plays.

And to Mr. Webb, I'm located in Portland Maine.

Thank you. It looks like a standard
7/16x11 not like the one Cognoscenti uses. Maybe your local guy has the standard tap from Atlas. That is, if it's even threaded into the butt.

It looks like the smooth barrel, and I doubt that it was tapped at the bottom.
