I need a estimate to replace a joint pin, pin broke off 1/4 inch down inside butt. Pin is set in to wood in butt.
Thanks for your help, J

IT IS A CHEAP CUE NO NAME, IT IS NOT PILOTED, 5/16 14 THREAD AND IS NOT IVORY JOINT

You never said where you live. Any good mechanic should be able to replace that pin but it will be more expensive than just replacing a bent pin as a different approach must be used since it is broke below the surface. I always recommend that most repairs be done locally as s/h and insurance, twice, plus the cost of the repair may be more than the cues value, especially since you said that it is a cheaper cue.

This is a pretty simple repair with the correct tooling but what Dick states is very true. S/h one way can easily be $15. Now double that to get the cue back plus the cost of the repair. You'll have to PM me for that.

So, is it worth it?
