Howdy All;

gotta question ? Go ask an expert. what my Pop always said.

There is/was a shaft for sale up in the sale section. Seller ;

Got my curiosities aroused as I'm not really familiar with a
uni-loc joint. I know the 5/16X14 but are they compatible?
Would the pilot shoulder stay during the conversion from
one to the other? Which is stronger or less likely to loosen
on it's own?
Did I miss anything?

He says he had the butt converted to a uni loc for a Predator shaft. The original Joss shaft is still a 5/16x14 original.

Thanks for the quick reply, Understood that bit but it got me thinking as I thought (??), I'd read on here
about some pair of joints were kinda/sorta/maybe interchangeable or able to be used with a different
type of pin or receiver?

The outside of the brass insert is the same size as the Joss insert, but the inside is different. The joss butt joint is still the original pilot size at .500
