Retake the picture with a ruler underneath oriented as if you were measuring the length of the pin. Then we can get a better idea of the number of threads per inch. I doubt that it is a 5/16-18, but a 3/8-10 and a 3/8-11 are difficut to distinguish without a reference rule behind them.
Could buy one of these;
and if the thread wiggles in the teeth of the gauge then it's a maker specific custom
like the Bludworth threads.

Not totally accurate, had to guess at the joint diameter, but close enough!
I could tell by looking it was 3/8-10, but this confirms it.

The "modified" pins will usually have a flat minor diameter. The pin on the cue above is standard V threads.
this gauge is not good get a differant one. The pitch degrees are 5 degs. differance.
I used that as an example, there are better ones to be had. Just look around.
