Having no joint ring on a cue does it make a difference i like mine plain looking ,just wondering if it makes the cue not as strong wears out faster I don't know would like some opinions I like my cues to look like house cues thanks.

If you are talking about SP type joint then it is probably yes. McDermott actually stopped making them when I was a McDermott dealer because they were tired of replacing cues due to splitting.

I like them plain on my players
I buy a lot with plain bands

The biggest collector i know buys them this way too

Not ultra fancy high dollar cues but
$5000 and below,and not always on these

Go ahead and get what you want,plenty of people like them

if it doesn't work out,
forget who told you
