I got this last night for $100. It has a cast iron fence and table.
Slowly but surely, its coming along. Mastercraft from Canadian Tire are not the most heavy duty tools you can buy but they stand behind their products
with no hassle warranties. The knives need to be replaced, the guy must have been cutting rebar with it. They were probably a soft metal and maybe he was cutting hardwood with it. I have no idea what could cause that big a wow in them. Can anyone point me in the right direction for better quality knives?

Hey Terry, nice score. I tried to look at House of Tools, but was totally shocked to see they are in receivership and have already closed the Saskatoon store (and Regina and a few others). :eek: I'll have to mourn over a few beers this evening, and say my thanks that Lee Valley opened a store here (they don't sell jointer blades, sorry my friend).

They had their big sale and are officially closed here.
We have nothing close so thats why I was asking for an online lead.
