Josey Cues: Good, Bad AND Ugly Please!!!

New Josey Coming Soon!!!

Just bumping this thread because I spoke to Sherri today and she said that my New cue will be delivered before the Hopkins show. I should have it in about 3 weeks!!!

I'm sending a pair of Kamui Black Soft tips their way, so the cue should be perfect and ready to go right out of the box.

To say I'm excited about this cue would be an understatement!!!

Don't worry, you KNOW I'll be posting some pictures when it gets here.

Oh, and there will be a little surprise on this cue. I won't ruin it here, but will post pictures of it when it arrives!

Thanks again to all who responded to this thread. I really appreciate the input, and I look forward to trying out one of his cues first hand!!!

Yeah, I think it's going to be a LOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG 3 weeks!

LoL...the last month of waiting is usually a killer. I am sure it will be worth the wait tho'.

I just spoke briefly with Keith on the phone and mine will be done next month as well, however, it will after SBE...so I am figuring about 5 weeks out, maybe a little less.

I am actually pretty calm about the whole thing right now...as this is not my first custom cue order, and having some cues in my case to keep me occupied seems to help.

Lisa =====home sick as a dog. :sorry:

Josey Cues

I put in an order a few weeks back for a Josey Sneaky Pete with 2 set inlays and 2 predator 314/2 shafts. I got turned onto Josey cues by a friend. After playing with it, I couldn't stop admiring the craftsmanship, the beauty and the feel. Like you all I am excited and can't wait to get my cue. Sherri and Keith Josey are awesome!

I can't wait to see the pics!

I bought my first Josey about a year ago (maybe more?) and love it. So did my wife, it's hers now :rotflmao: About two months ago I bought my Josey, and of course love it! I'm through shopping for cues, I've found what I genuinely enjoy. I still admire all kinds of cues but I know we will be extremely happy playing with these for years to come.

Maybe not through shopping... :speechless: I'd like to have a plain jane Josey to take places I don't want to bring our fancy cues, probably a jump break cue too. That's way down the road though, lol. I'm satisfied that I know who will be getting my money and making the cues

A friend/customer of mine has a few Josey's and another on order.
I do his re-tipping for him and I just commented to him the other day that when I put the Josey shaft in the lathe it a spun it it was the straightest most balanced shaft I had ever turned :) He asked me to check the diameter of the tip and it was bang on 12.000 mm:eek:
His fit and finish is among the best imo so craftsmanship is never a question for sure.

lets revive this thread..

Now waiting time for a josey cue is 12 months/` year, so im really looking to try one. I hope i got a cheaper fancy SP and tried both shaft, timeless and standard maple.

I'm not surprised there's a waiting list for his cues, still love ours but they're not getting used as much as they outta be. Thought about selling them a few times, but I don't believe I'd be able to.

Still playing with my 2007 Josey with zero plans for another cue. Should the unthinkable happen, I'll be on the phone to Keith.

Along the long road and I mean that figuratively, haven't been "on the road"... I've played with lots of cues and only one has come along and changed pool for me forever, my Josey. A few have held my interest for long periods, OB, Predator, and Frey being those few all were great but nothing hits quite like my Josey with the Timeless Timber shaft. Plays great and looks great. The hit just makes you want to play more even when you're dead tired. It's just that special.

Someone mentioned the break/jump cues. I haven't had the change to break with a break/jump but if it's close to the full splice break cue it is a monster. It even made my break look good. I sold it like an idiot but I just ordered another one. It will be a wait but I have great break cue until then...

I have played exclusively with Josey's since 2000 and will not play with anything else. IMO they are the best hitting cues on the market. To top it off Keith and Sherri are two of the nicest people on the planet.
