If you pay attention to my posts you know I do have a friendship with Skins and I respect his work and opinion, however I have not had the chance to try a Josey. Have heard nothing but great things, if you play with on please elaborate.

The Josey cue I had was a cool ebony-ivory-turquois fleur de lis design cue.
Terrific playing cue, the thinner handle had a great feel, the workmanship is very good,
and I've never heard anything but good about Keith Josey, and especially his CNC design work.

For the sake of full disclosure, my friend Skins told me to say that

Like him or not, he is full of knowledge. I just want to fully disclose so no one can come back at me later. I've heard nothing but great things about Josey, and Tim designs great cues, but I'm a veneer guy personally.

I had 17 Colorado Cues (Dan Breggan) mostly designed by Tim.
Beautiful cues, I'm down to 4, and people love them.
Tim's been doing this for a long time, and I've learned quite a bit talking to him.

Ebony cue is gone

I did not know

I was not aware Tim designed them as well. As I said before, it's not my cup of tea, but Tim designs a beautiful cue.

Veneers you say?

I'm very happy with my Josey. I'm sure there are many other cues I could be happy with, but since I use 'em for their intended purpose...to play pool with... Well, barring the unthinkable, I'll be playing with this one for a long time.

Being as a live right near where Josey calls home/headquarters... I've had the opportunity to pick up and play with many many Josey's over the last couple years. From his original work, to fresh off the lathe, new and old and even a couple dufferin overhauls that played fantastic. They all hit solid and are each unique in their own. Keith is a heck of a guy to talk to and watch work. A wealth of knowledge. His cues are sought after from all over. He builds a heck of a player. Probably my top three favorite hitting cue.
