2008 Josey Bacote Scabdagger

- Built in Kevin DeRoo Cue Extension (as seen at http://www.deroocues.com/builtinextensions.htm)
- 1 Predator 314^2 shaft with matching ringwork
- 2 Predator Z^2 shafts with matching ringwork
- 19 oz
- Wrapless
- Joint protectors included
- Everything rolls straight

If you were to buy this cue yourself you would need to contact Keith Josey and Kevin DeRoo and keep the following costs in mind:

- [$430] ... Josey asks $580 for a Scabdagger cue which includes a Josey standard Rock Hard Maple shaft (NOT INCLUDED so I deducted $150, the cost of that shaft)
- [$250] ... The price Josey charges for a matching 314^2 shaft
- [$550] ... The price Josey charges for a matching Z^2 shaft (of which there are 2)
- [$275] ... The price DeRoo charges for a cue extension installation + refinish (required on wrapless cue)

That's a total of $1505 to replace this cue brand new, not to mention Josey's wait times and the time (and cost) to ship the cue back and forth to DeRoo.

For now, I'm posting this cue open to any and all trades (up or down). Let's see what you've got.

If someone really wants to just buy the cue outright let me know via PM. And I'll re-post it for sale (with a cash price) if I don't get a suitable trade happening.

I can e-mail you larger photos on request. Hopefully three photos appear below:

I encourage you to check my iTrader feedback.

Thanks for looking.

Detailed specs on the shafts please, and the butt is made of bacote?

Yes the butt is made out of bacote.

Shaft specs are...

314^2
Length 29", Tip diameter 12.7mm

Z^2 #1
Length 29", Tip diameter 11.8mm

Z^2 #2
Length 29", Tip diameter 11.8mm

I don't claim that my digital calipers are perfect but those measurements jive exactly with Predator's claimed specifications for 314 and Z shafts (12.75mm and 11.75mm).

hey

id like to know what kind of price range your talking about if you were to strictly sell the cue not to trade.

The Deroo extension is the nutz!

You are completely right poolplayer, that extension is the nutz
I am 6´4 and reach most of the shots, but some time a thing like that would be awesome.
So it´s the nutz for sure, but i think the grain of the bocote wood doesn´t fit anymore.
If perfectly executed it should fit when it´s closed, i think, correct

Your 100% right, that's the biggest problem putting an extension on a grainy cue, also the cue is back weighted do to the weight of the extention.I love the cue,but the extention kills the balance for me.

It's true that the grain doesn't line up perfectly, but it's much more noticeable on a close up photo than in real life.

According to DeRoo the installation of this extension on any cue adds 0.5oz, not so different from a weight bolt. Depending on the cue adding 0.5oz weight bolt can help or hurt. In the case of this cue, I am very happy with the balance and hit, and other people I've let hit with this cue said the same.

The extension is incredibly useful. I've had it before on other cues, and I've also experienced not having it before. It feels like losing your right arm for awhile when you come up against another shot where you know it would save you.

Is this cue for sale or trade bait? If your willing to sell outright, post a price, please!

As I stated in my post/description, for now preference is for trades. If nothing in the near future I'll repost it for sale for cash.
