~~ Josey Sneaky Pete - Pristine Condition!!! ~~

Phenolic is TAN not Pink!!!!

Sorry, I answered this in the PM, but forgot to post about it.

The phenolic is NOT the pinkish, salmon color that is showing up in the pictures.

It is TAN!!

I don't know why I couldn't get the true color in any of the pictures, but it is the lighter tan phenolic!

It looks like an awesome cue and I've always wanted to try out a Josey sneaky, but did I read your post correctly that the shafts were taken down to 13.25mm??
That is larger than what I usually like (I usually prefer something in the 12.75mm range), but if these were taken down to 13.25 how large did they come to start with? Also were they taken down by Josey or by someone else?

Thanks,

dakota

I don't know why I can't get the true color in any of the pictures, but it is the lighter tan phenolic!

Dakota,

Thanks. The shafts were originally at 13.5mm, which was the thickest I had ever heard of, or tried in real life. The original owner was a 3c player and just really liked a thicker shaft because they felt so solid. I would agree that the cue hit like a freight train!

I sent them directly to Keith Josey, and he took them down to 13.25 and installed the new Hirano tips, then re-sealed the shafts.

The cue is basically in brand new condition.

Wow!!

That is just a pure class beauty!! Someone gonna be very happy with this!
Good luck with your sale......:)

Hirano Tip Feedback...

Here's my feedback on the Hirano tips, as there is really no info on them.

They are Firmer than a Kamui Black SS or Soft, but Softer than the Black Medium. The tip has a nice feel to it with a very solid hit and great feedback.

I wanted to keep the cue in as close to Brand New condition as possible for the new owner (whoever that will be!), so hopefully they will report back once they log some time with the cue.

I will say the tip does have a nice solid sound to it as well!

Thanks again for the comments.

Cue is in better than new condition with the shaft reduction and Hirano tips!

I have to admit, it's not so sneaky with the points, but that's such a nice looking cue. I love simple cues. Good luck with the sale.

awesome cue

Bump for a really nice players cue. I can't believe this is still around...
Good luck with your sale.
