Joss 10 inch extension help

New joss 10 inch extension (screw type) not inserting fully. Seems as though you would need to countersink or drill out the wooden buttplate some in order to have a clean fit. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Ross

If you're a do it yourselfer, you might take a reamer to it and go down a 1/4 inch or so. I'm no cuemaker tho.

He said that I purchased an old model. The ones they sell now are are 6 and 8 inch. I bought the old style 10 inch. If you don’t want the gap like I had (see pics above), then you need to buy the new QD detachment as it has an insert that permanently replaces the cues butt cap and accepts the new style extension.
I was looking at the one you have and the new quick release the other day.
Appreciate the info!
