Everyone knows that the 90's Joss Sneaky Pete cues were some of the best the company ever made, offering a solid hit. This cue will deliver knockout performance; think Mike Tyson at 20 years old!
This bocote sneaky is in excellent condition, with the finish in great shape, and only a few minor and negligle markings, or signs of use. The specs are as follows:
BUTT WEIGHT=15.25 oz.
SHAFT WEIGHT=4.10 oz.
TIP = 12.50 mm, 13.05 mm (base of ferrule).
The fact that the shaft is a full 13.05 mm at the base of the ferrule, shows that the shaft has never been turned down. That's why it gives "balls to the wall" performance. However, as the ferrule is approximately one half of a millimeter thinner at the base of the tip--and at a gradual reduction from one end (base) of the ferrule to the other (tip)--this suggests that a professional may have gradually turned the ferrule down in order to get a more pinpointed tip. If I didn't mention this, you would never know, unless you checked the ferrule with a digital caliper, as I have done. Nonetheless, I wan't to be as accurate as possible in describing the cue.
The tip appears to be a Triangle. Also note that the third photo in the collage appears to show a blemish on the forearm, but no anomaly exists. This is as clean a 90's Joss Sneaky Pete as you're likely to find!
