I recently bought a cue from a guy and i can't tell what it is.It is a nice cue and i couldn't beat the price but the ivory on the butt end has been replaced and that is where the makers name was.I talked with several people and everyone seems to think it may be a Joss.Any Joss afficiondos out there wanna help. The cue has around 50-60 inlays.Starting at the joint it has 18 maple inlays in the black ring.It has 4 points with 5 inlays per point.....they look to be from center....mother of pearl, ebony, maple, zebrawood, and ebony. It has a irish linen wrap.Thre butt has three rectangle inlays whch contain ...starting from the center...mop..ebony,cocobolo.Starting from the endit has a plastic butt cap...ring of ebony about 10mm wide..3mm ring of zebrawood..1mm stainless steel ring, another ring of zebrawood, the inlays i described earlier are set in ebony,,,then a ring of cocobola..another steel ring,,,,a 3 mm ring of cocobola then a 10mm rng of ebony before the wrap. The joinnt looks to me like yellowed ivory and i really don't know what the measurements on the pin are....thanks
