henho said:I have a Joss that I love. I don't think the shaft is whippy at all, the whole cue feels very stiff and solid. The Joss with the stock Triangle tip is very good at communicating the hit you get on the cueball; usually I can gauge where my game is at based on the feedback I am getting. Highly recommended.
Also, Josses can have two different shafts, one of which has the joint threads in made of brass, and the other of a plastic or wood. I have the latter type, and prefer the hit (there is a big difference). I am not sure if these shaft differences are an option or whether Joss switched from one kind to the other.
