Joss cues

I used to own a 1990 Joss west until it got stolen... and was wondering how the new Joss cues are. Is Dan Janes involved with these cues?

Thanks.

I like the Joss brand of cues. I think they are a really good value and play great. A lot of bang for your buck.
And yes, Dan Janes is the owner of Joss cues.

Cant play any of them.... all the brick & mortar stores are gone. If anyone knows any places out here in Denver... that would be great.

If those are your choices and are unable to actually try out the cues, I would go with Schon. They tend to keep their resell value better.
Those are the production cues I've researched... any other suggestions would be great. Would love to get a custom cue... but at this time I cant justify spending the dough on one.

Find a pool hall that is popular or hosts leagues. Joss, Schon, and Pech are all popular enough that you should find people with said cues easily enough. Just like McD, they are all production cue companies so the hit between cues of the same brand should be fairly similar.

I have always been a huge fan of McDermott and recently Mezz. They feel pretty different, but I really enjoy playing with both. McD is on the same level as Joss and Mezz is up there with Schon and Pech.

Hey thanks. I inherited my dads cues... we played leagues & tournaments together for 15 years. One is a Predator 98-2 model and a McDermott D-11. I'm not crazy about the Predator... but the McDermott hits them pretty good. I might break it out of retirement and put it to work if I cant find anything I like.

I've shot with a fair amount of different cues all are a good quality product there's good and bad in everything .
I've got a Scott Erwin custom cue with 2 shafts and joint protectors and it's a great cue that is a pleasure to shoot with .
When I'm playing league I'll use it but chances are I'll leave it at home and use a predator SP or a Pechauer with a Rouge shaft .
I'd give Scott a call to see what time frame there would be to get a quality cue , case in point one of his cues sold in less than a day for a screaming deal IMHO .

No we have brick and mortar stores here in Denver, are you new here?

Stupid auto-correct feature!
Lol that was still funny

I do that all the time.

Joss cues are great, last I checked. Which was a few years ago. I have always liked them. Used one as my player for a couple years.

If they are like they were, good stuff for sure

Enjoy
