Narrowed me down from a twenty year window to two years.

Well done. :)

I thought they were made longer than that though? I guess I was wrong.

Joss information

The cue you have pictured is a JOSS Custom or Professional Series cue, these cues were made by JOSS (East) or JOSS, Inc. by the Janes family headed by Dan Janes. These series of JOSS' ran from late 1989 to 1993. These are also known as the N series of cues which were the Custom Series, the prices ranged from $280.00 for the N-1 to $3,800.00 for the N-20.

The cues came with 1 shaft except for the N-19 and N-20 which came with 2 shafts. Also available was Laser Engraving that you could do a basic Initials for $60.00 up to $400.00 for very exotic Greek Motifs.

Hope this helps, in regards to re-sell values, a basic N-1 to N-4 with no points run from $150.00 to $250.00 depending on condition and design.

Higher end cues in this series that are in new or Old New Stock condition can still draw original retail prices and sometimes more.

Thanks for the great valuable information, here are a couple of new pictures...I do believe it is an N3, I think the cue is virtually unplayed, comes complete with original cloth Joss retail bag/case, thinking of offering somewhere around 200. Sound good?

Thanks again everyone for your replies.
