Beautiful!! A friend of mine bought one almost exactly like it from a college student years ago. Actually, the student was the one who taught me to break in 9 Ball. His had a steel joint, though.
 
Thanks. This is the first cue I've owned that didn't have an SS Joint. I like the Micarta a lot.

I once had the pleasure to play with a micrata joint old joss. I regretted not buying it.

That logo with the uncapped italic J was only used 1968-1972 If this is not clear enough i will simply buy the cue back any time.
