I love your wisdom and advice:
love the game, play the game, shut up and don't complain.

That means we should all be mindless robots. Take what they give us and never complain. You have to be a room owner dude, only those guys, think that way. Give us crap tables, crap balls, house cloth, rent us $30 cues we should get free, blow our ear drums out with rap crap and if we complain we are not welcome, just spend money and shut up. Do I give a a fair read out on your boys or what?
:D

Hi dandydude,

Sorry you're having a bad day, week, year, whatever.

Mike Zuglan puts on a first class event. The Turning Stone Casino & Hotel has opened their doors to us pool players again. Like Cueball said, come on up and enjoy a weekend of pool. Saturday's play will begin early and end late. In between, 96 of the best pool players will put their talents on display for free! Please remember that the Turning Stone does not serve alcoholic beverages. They do allow their customers to bring their own. See all you all there!!!!

Well dandydude....you are far from right. i am not a room owner but i will say this and try to straighten out the misconception that you are apparently having with my signature......what it simply means is this...love the game...so love it... play the game...play your best game....shut up and don't complain...if your getting bad rolls or got into a stupid game either giving up to much weight or not getting enough weight or are getting all the bad rolls, then just shut up and play the game. everybody in their life time gets or gives a bad game. you made the bet or whatever...don't complain about it.
in short,,,,why complain, just love the game of pool and enjoy it... just don't complain about it...get over it. i hope this clarafies it for you. it does for me. ....so come to the turning stone casino and see some real players..and for free..................................................................

We're heading up late Thursday night, very early Friday morning. Fortunately, the weather looks good on the horizon for the 10-plus-hour drive. Ryan McCreesh is catching a ride up to Turning Stone with us. Ryan is playing with a brand-new Capone cue stick with a Predator shaft. This tournament filled up way in advance with a stellar 96-player field.

I've only been to this casino one time. Located in Upstate New York, it is an absolutely beautiful part of the country. I remember last year driving up there and passing the Boxing Hall of Fame, located somewhere near Binghamton I think, which I may check out if time allows.

Smoking is allowed in the casino, but as Cardiac Kid said, it's bring your own beverage of choice. There are also no smoking sections in the casino for those who don't like the smoke. The tournament venue will be no smoking. Spectators get in for free, which is a nice. AND don't forget about the poker tournament which begins on Friday, February 18th, at 8:00 p.m.!

I'm clearing off my work desk and looking forward to getting out of Dodge for the weekend. It's going to be fun, and I can't wait! I read that Allen Hopkins, Jose Parica, Karen Corr, and quite a few heavy-hitters will be competing for the $15,000-added event.

Ryan attended the Joss tourney in Syracuse last weekend, and then he went to Turning Stone to engage in a little R&R. He said there were posters all over the place advertising the Joss 9-ball tournament. I also like the fact that it's a 3-day [Presidents' Day] holiday weekend.

Shown below is a picture of JAM's gambling budget in the casino. Last time we went to Turning Stone, the very first bet we made was on the Keno board, and we won 800-plus dollars! We had the whole room jumping up and down, catching 5 out of 6 numbers, with 5 pulls for the sixth, which would have been to the tune of 12 dimes if we had hit. Man, that was thrilling! :p

Hi JAM,

If my memory serves me correctly, the boxing HOF is in Oneida. Oneida is one exit West of "The Stone". If you get off the NYS Thruway at that exit, its right there! Drive safely, the weather will be cold (19*) and snow showers all day.

Hi Mike,

I'll be there from Friday night through Sunday. Perhaps you can give me a three cushion lesson at Hippo's during the event. I still don't know what I'm doing but, I'll try hard! ;)

Is Bosco coming?

Hi JAM,

I'm not sure. I will have some people check to see if he's coming. It may only be late Saturday or perhaps Sunday. The pool room is trying to organize a "field trip" to the Casino to support the event. I'll do my best!

I think the extenders are a thing of the past until I find a way around the patent to rebuild it so it's more durable.

Mike, maybe I can pay you back (with a meal) for that work you did on that jump break for me. For those of you asking about Mikes extender cues I will have my Webb jump break extender with me if someone wants to make a offer on it. I have had a bunch of offers in the past but haven't sold it yet.

Thank you
I'm glad I could help.
