I was wondering with this announcement to be at the Turing Stone Casino. I dont think that i would be able to attend this tournement now would i? Myself being 16 years of age. I was really excisted when it was in Portland but when it got cancelled. This was one of the places i didn't want to see get it because i don't think i will be allowed to attend.

So do you know if i would be able to or not. Were minors allowed to attend the earlier Turning Stone Classic, if not, i have to get some glue and a fake mustache :).

Thanks As Always.

Muxy I'm almost positive you can play, as a matter a fact this years Jr Champion Mike Dechain played at our last event there. You just won't be able to go on the Casino floor but I'm pretty sure you'll be more than welcome in the ballroom where the event is held. Good Luck, hope to see you there.

Muxy:

I just went to the Turning Stone web site, and under information it said that under 18s can not be on the gaming floor. The tournament is in a seperate room so I would assume that you could attend. Go to the Turning Stone site and check it out for yourself. Click on information or send them an e-mail with your specific question. I'm sure they would respond.

Thanks Joe and Nail, i will be in toronto at the time, and hopefully will be able to travel down with some buddies.

Hi Muxy,

Having played in all but one Turning Stone event, I highly recommend you forwarding your entry fee to Mike Zuglan ASAP. Last month's 96 player event was filled months in advance. If you're concerned about perhaps having to cancel and the refund of your entry, Mike Z is one honorable guy. Mike has been very disappointed in the small showing of our friends to the north. Alain, Claude, Danny, et al have been missing for a while. Your attendence will be a plus. Don't worry about your age. Just stay off the main Casino floor. Otherwise, your very welcome at the Turning Stone. Bring your friends!

Mike's email is mzjosstour@aol.com
Before anyone sends any money they should contact Mike.
The tournament will be at the NEW EVENT CENTER which is absolutely beautiful for an event such as this.

I am not playing. HAHA, i am 16 why donate my close to 500 canadian to play 2 matches . I will watch that weekend.

I can't speak on their behalf but I don't think it would be very smart for them financially to drive down from Montreal to play a tournament that's gonna pay in the $1500-$2500 range for first place. It's really too bad because Alain is a really talented and entertaining player to watch, he's the current Canadian champ and has secured a spot in this years WPC. I'm surprised some of the Toronto guys such as Morra, Cruz, etc. don't make it down. It's too bad because there are at least 10-20 guys in Southern Ontario that could easily cash at every tournament and the tour could certaily use the extra support.

Morro is even closer he runs a room in Detroit. Um i am probably 80% sure i will be going.

Let's see, the last Turning Stone event paid $5500.00 first place and that was $15000. added. The finale is $25,000. And you think first place will only be between $1500 to $2500.

WHAT SCHOOL YOU GO!
