My buddy has a Joss that I like. It looks pretty old. The number on it is 00406. I will post pictures tomorrow, but I thought I would ask tonight with that number to sew of anyone knows the model and the value. I would like to buy it from him and I don't want to beat him or him neat me.

Top cue is the one I need info on. The wrap is some sort of reptile skin or fake. Not sure.

Can't be all that old, serial numbers didn't start until about 2000. I know he had planned to keep a database.

He says his records show it as a JS-03 finished 6/3/98 and sold by J&S Sales.
I guess JS-03 were different styles, as there is another JS-03 on here for sale that doesn't look like it.

That was probably about a $450-475 cue when new, plus an add-on wrap.
Used, $250, maybe 300 but 300 would be only if you were interested in the custom wrap. I think it does not add anything to the design and actually makes it look worse, but that's JMHO.
