Joss Tour Finale - Turning Stone Classic VII - August 17-20, 2006

What Area hotels are within reasonable drive?

Looked on net , for area hotel-motels for visit, but was uncomfortable with how far away:eek: and what they were like. I went to Baltimore for tournament and since really am gun shy ,site unseen. I would rather spend a extra 10 then have to leave in the middle of nite again. Maybe someone can offer 1st hand advise. Thanks

I went to the tournament for a couple of days last year. I don't remember the prices, but neither do I remember them being particularly expensive. I'd just stay at the casino if I were you.

Anyone know where I can find a list of the vendors that will have a booth at this event?

Last year there weren't really many vendors. Diane Hoppe, Joe Tucker, Mike Webb (repairs and sales). A few others, I didn't really notice I went to watch pool and visit Mike. BTW, Mike has been working his tail off, he might have some cues with him worth seeing if they're not sold before he gets there (well, his cues are actually always worth seeing).
Sounds like a real good field this year. If I could get there, I would just for that.

There are two or three hotels about one-half mile away from the casino property. I think several players stayed there, and it was very reasonable, $60 to $70 I think. I can't remember the name of them, though.

If the Turning Stone Resort and Casino is filled up to the brim, then I would ask them for the name of the hotels down the road from them. They're very nice people there and always accommodating.

The website is: http://www.turningstone.com

Hope to see you there! :)
