I was watching yesterday at Comet Billiards in NJ. Karen Corr was playing Sean Morgan. Sean was up 7-6 race to nine. He's shooting easy 5 in corner with 7&9 on table. Nerves, hangs 5 in pocket. Karen runs out.
She breaks and later caroms 9 in while shooting the 4. Karen 8 to 7.
(Always happens, make a mistake and u wind up losing 2 games)
She breaks and pushes out. Sean has atough bridge to shoot 2. He misses and Karen is running out. She gets to the 9. Cue is 1 diamond above side pocket, 9 is 1 1/2 diamond below side pocket. Straight in shot easy. Misses horribly.
Sean shooting back cut shot in side, nerves, and perhaps thinking if he misses. He misses makeable shot.
9 ball is 1 diamond above side Pocket 3 inches from the rail, cue is straight in shot 2 inches from bottom rail. Karen hangs ball in corner. Hill -Hill
Sean breaks nad table is messy. saftey battle follows and sean gets cue in hand. Tough run out, sweaty hands and nerves. Sean runs out and advances to final four.

Liz is defeated next match and out in 9/12 place. Defeated by Heindrecks (? sp).
Zion now playing sloppy and looses to Eddie Abraham.
I left as Korr was playing a good player from Providence a Ray Macnamara. I watched a couple of his sets and he plays very good. Good Cue control.
Ray was taking a shot that he could not reach, the butt of his cue unscrews and extends about 8 inches. Very nice feature. I asked him about it and said Mike Webb made it for him 5 years ago. Beats using the bridge.
